Combat: So how did the seminar finish up?

F.S: With a demonstration! I'd forgotten to tell Garry that such demonstrations were the done thing in Norway, so he only had about two minutes to put one together. He eventually performed a pre-arranged streetfight, with his partner wisely wearing a crash helmet! The audience were so impressed that they overlooked the fact that that the whole thing only lasted five minutes, whereas they'd be expecting to be entertained for a full half hour. They'd already seen Garry in action on a news programme and were impressed even before they arrived.
The seminar was a great success and seeing the practical application of Wing Chun has made me realise what a magnificent fighting system it truly is. I just hope that with regular guidance from Garry, my own standard, my students' standard and the standard of Wing Chun in Norway will greatly improve.
