Andrew Cunningham began his Wing Chun journey in 1998 under the guidance of Sifu Ian Morris. He later continued his training with Sifu Kola Fajimolu at the TWCS Enfield branch before moving to the TWCS headquarters in Hackney to train under Sifu Garry McKenzie.

In 2010, Andrew began private tuition with Sifu Garry McKenzie, where he completed the full Wing Chun curriculum. Since then, his training has focused on the practical application of Wing Chun, with a strong emphasis on combat effectiveness and developing the attributes required for real-world self-defence.

In 2015, Andrew had the privilege of accompanying Sifu Garry McKenzie and fellow students on a training trip to Hong Kong and Foshan, China, the birthplace of Wing Chun. During the visit, he trained at a number of renowned schools and met many highly respected Wing Chun masters, including Grandmaster Ip Ching, Sifu Chau Lin Fat, Grandmaster Kong Chi Keung, Sifu Yip Jyu Jeh, Sifu Donald Mak, Sifu Sam Lau, and Sifu John Wong, among others. He also had the honour of attending a seminar conducted by Grandmaster Ip Ching, gaining invaluable insight into the art from one of Wing Chun's most respected figures.

In 2016, in recognition of Andrew's dedication, skill, and understanding of the system, Sifu Garry McKenzie granted him permission to begin teaching private students.
